Fay Buurman is a Dutch         Multidisciplinary Designer
 currently studying Graphic Design at ArtEZ Arnhem.

    With an interest in textiles, craft, and the             intersection of      
  analog and digital processes.

Rooted in an admiration
for hands-on practices,
Fay’s work explores the unpredictable beauty of materiality,light, and sound, often integrating performative and experimental elements.


Fay’s projects question what is human, mundane,
or divine in the creative process.

        Spilling Guts questions one 
        of the most intimate
         and overlooked phenomena: 
        the sounds of the human body.


        Through a choreography of cassette tapes,
         mixers, and  rhythms of organs harmonizing. 
        Are these echoes still human? 
        The interplay of body and machine
         seeks to unearth a duality: 
        the organic and the artificial, 
        the autonomous and the programmed.


        Spilling Guts invites the listener to reconsider 
        what it means to inhabit a body, 
        to be human, 
                  and to create.
