 currently studying Graphic Design at ArtEZ Arnhem.

  analog and digital processes.

for hands-on practices,
Fay’s work explores the unpredictable beauty of materiality,light, and sound, often integrating performative and experimental elements.


Fay’s projects question what is human, mundane,
or divine in the creative process.
Collaboration plays a central role, engaging

     A visual collection of media, 
    sourced from the Rijksmuseum archive,
                                                              featuring plates. 
Food is appriacted and aestheticized in it’s complete state,
but where does this appriciation go 
        when the plates are empty? 

        Through zooming in on food scraps and 
                  cutlery placement
and manually cutting out and reframing plates,
this collection shifts the focus from abundance to aftermath.

   It challenges our aestheticized view of dining,
    highlighting what is usually overlooked:
        remnants, traces, and quiet gestures of use.
